Kate Wright has always
been passionate about fitness and sport, and has a background
in dance and gymnastics. Prior to deciding that this was
the field she wanted to work in and pursue a career in personal
training, Kate had already completed a degree in Journalism
at Salford University.
Kate then went on to complete the Premier Training Fitness
Instructor Award (REPs 2), followed by the Personal Training
and Nutrition Diploma (REPs 3). Kate specialises in weight
management, but also covers other aspects of training, including
sport specific fitness, improving stamina, strength training,
muscular toning, flexibility and balance.

Kate has gained a lot of experience working within a health
club in Disley. She has enjoyed training many different
people with varying goals before moving on and working at
Fitworks.

David Ashton completed
a degree in Sport & Exercise Science up in Newcastle
in 1996. Since then David has worked as a Fitness Instructor
and Personal Trainer, working both freelance and for the
LivingWell Health Club - Manchester.
David has over eleven years practical experience and a
broad knowledge of fitness training and assessment, including
weight management, diet & nutrition, muscular toning
& development, lifestyle management, sport-specific
training, and exercise biomechanics & technique.

Sport and exercise have always been important to David. He
has previously represented his Club, County, and the North
of England in the Long Jump. His long standing interest and
enthusiasm for fitness and athletics is evident whilst training
with him at the Fitworks studio. |
